When I created Seeing and Being Seen,
I never imagined how deeply it would touch the people who joined.
The windmills of my heart, 2025, Elodie Palfer-Sollier
This is a video that one of my participants, Elodie, was created after the workshop, inspired by the process.
And this is what she wrote: "SEE AND BE SEEN
Here's a topic as timeless as it is current.
In the era of selfies, reels, and lives, we stage ourselves... or not.
But at the end of the day, what can I see about myself? Who am I when I actually allow myself to be seen? Before I'm seen, do I feel seen? Who do I need to feel seen by? Do I need my red hair to exist in other people's eyes, in mine?
To see and to be seen is a matter of me and me. A journey within.
That's exactly what Efrat Shani offered in her latest workshop.
A workshop with Efrat is never boring. No judgment, no expectations, just an open door to a new transformation. Everything balances underneath his gentle and confronting gaze, fair and precise, protective and challenging.
This workshop has come to an end. A cycle has just ended for me, both professionally and personally. The page is blank, the space is empty, and the noise has been silenced.
So I took a plunge. I have been observing, looking through my photos and memories. And I watched the cycle of my life turn, never bringing me back to the same place. My moon carousel is my lane. The record echoes my voice.

Under the kind eye of the group, I found answers to my questions. And I took action.
Thank you, Efrat, for creating workshops that are always so rich and impactful. Thank you for your inspiration, your look. Thank you for creating these spaces where I see and feel fully seen.
Because "seeing and being seen" begins here: in that intimate moment when I dare to really look at myself and let myself be seen, without a mask, without fireworks. This is where it all starts."
Elodie’s words, voice, and gaze carry the essence of this work. The invitation to pause. To return to yourself. To be witnessed — gently, honestly, without performance.
This is what "Seeing and Being Seen" is all about.
And now, a new cycle is beginning.
This time, I’m offering the full journey: A six-part workshop exploring image, memory, presence, and identity through photography, personal objects, and the gaze. In the visual therapy method

6 visual rituals.
6 gateways of transformation.
In an intimate, guided group starting July 14, 2025, online (Zoom).
If something in Elodie's sharing touches you, You're warmly invited if you're ready to meet yourself with compassion, clarity, and courage.
